Week 8 - Body Image

This week, we are going to explore the impact that thoughts around your body image can have on your mental wellbeing, and how we can improve this to change the way we see ourselves and feel good about the body we have!

Together, we will explore the role that external factors such as social media can have on our perceptions of self, and how we can use these platforms to encourage positive body image rather than feeling bad about ourselves.

We will also explore how we feel about our body currently, and provide advice on how to practise compassion towards your reflection. As we embark on our journey, our bodies will change, and this week we will learn how to navigate this change and recognise the successes we are achieving.

Week 9 - Sleep

This week, we will explore the importance of sleep on our weight loss journey. Sleep is more than just rest in the evening, it can also impact our mental health, dietary habits, exercise routines and so much more.

Together, we will delve into the aspects of sleep hygiene that we can implement in our day-to-day lives that will help us when we are trying to fall asleep later on. We will educate you on the role sleep has on the rest of our body, and how it impacts our digestion, cravings and more.

Congratulations! You’ve made it to week 10 of your weight loss journey with SheMed and you should be incredibly proud of yourself!

This week, we are going to explore your goals for the future and how you can keep yourself motivated by continuing to celebrate your success along the way. As weight loss journey’s progress, our achievements may taper and it may feel like we are no longer accomplishing our goals at the pace we were before. However, it is important to reflect on the overall journey and the positive changes you have made to your life which are improving your health and wellbeing long term.

You should be really proud of yourself for making it to week 10, and here’s to many more weeks of success, creating a healthier, happier you.
